We are seeking a dedicated, member service-oriented professionals to join our Golf team as Full-time Golf Services Attendant from April to Mid-November 2024 (Weather dependent).

THE POSITION:

Under the supervision and direction of the Golf Services Lead Supervisor and Head Golf Professional, the Golf Services Attendant will perform his/her duties to ensure the safety and security of member's golf equipment such as golf bags, golf clubs, driving range equipment, etc.

and provide exceptional member service.

The Golf Services Attendant will also ensure that the equipment is readily available for members prior to their tee-off time and that the practice facilities are fully stocked and presentable at all times.

AN OVERVIEW OF MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that member's golfing equipment including their golf clubs, golf bag and transportation preferences are set and available for use prior to the start of their tee-off time.
Retrieve, clean and store away golf equipment after members have completed their rounds.
Perform daily cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe storage area for staff, members and guests which includes dusting, sweeping and mopping.
Be prepared for oncourse tasks such as pickups, 9th tee carts, 10th tee shuttle, spotting etc.
Perform daily opening and closing duties as specified by Donalda Club standards.
Pick up and drop off members and their equipment from the parking lot when required using Golf Carts as transportation.
Perform any additional duties as specified by the Manager/Supervisors/Shift Leaders/Golf Professionals on duty.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

Completion of High School Education (Grade 12) is required
Knowledge of the game of Golf and the principles surrounding etiquette is recommended
Good communication skills with a good working knowledge of written and spoken English
Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining composure and performance standard during busy peak periods
Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors for long periods of time
Must be able to perform lifting and mild strenuous activity
Must be able to at least lift 25 lbs (Golf Bags)
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on member service
Well groomed, mannerly, cooperative and outwardly friendly (team oriented)
Able to work shifts days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Punctual and reliable

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Possession of valid driver's license and a safe driving record
