**DURATION: FROM MARCH 2023 UNTIL FEBRUARY 2024 WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION
**_Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of Nunavik.
- **Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Second Language Curriculum Development, this position entails the
responsibility of providing advice and support to schools in the implementation, development and evaluation of
programs of study, class management and instructional materials.


FUNCTION & DUTIES:
Develop teaching and learning tools to organize, stream and validate the creation of Inuit-centred educational
- resources in collaboration with colleagues

  • Support and ensure high quality and culturally relevant education in Nunavik communities specifically with
- computer technology in a second language environment

  • Help teachers and education consultants to integrate the new technologies as part of our programs through training
- sessions and workshops in person or with technological support (virtual class, videoconference and others);

  • Act as liaison between the IT department and the other departments in Education Services as regards IT;
  • Support our competencybased program and promote it with the school administrators, teachers and other staff
- members concerned.

  • Follow up on inventories of material for educational technology within our schools
  • Carry out related tasks at the discretion of the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of specialization, notably education.

- employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board._

REQUIREMENTS:

Legal qualification to teach in the province of Québec

  • Experience as a teacher
  • Fluency in at least two of the working languages of the Board (Inuktitut, French, English)
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborative and helpful nature
  • Knowledge of Inuit culture is an asset
  • Knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.***
    CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS:In accordance with the SPPENOM collective agreement for professionals.

This position belongs to job category 2104:
- from $46,114$ to $82,585 annually depending on qualification and experience. All benefits are prorated based on the
