    Position Overview

    We have an exciting new opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer within the Autodesk Fusion 360 Data and Process Management team. The successful candidate will be first responder, performance analyst, system architect, capacity planner, and monitoring expert. Good technical skills are required for you to be successful within this role. A passion for learning new technologies and a desire to solve every problem you come across are the keys to being successful in this role.

    Responsibilities

  • You will build and scale hosting solutions for highly dynamic SaaS based web applications
  • You will write Infrastructure-as-Code to create and maintain global application environments
  • Ensure standards, processes, and best practices are efficient, and documented
  • Use modern administration tools like Docker, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation/CDK to manage and deploy containers and virtual machines
  • You will work with development, testing, and documentation teams during the product development cycle to ensure quality control
  • Automate processes were possible and create new technologies when needed
  • Collaborate with partners to understand requirements, understand use cases and build towards a cohesive technical strategy
  • Participate in production support and on-call rotation
  • A strong drive to learn and own initiatives to promote a culture of continuous improvement, and excellence
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years Linux Administration monitoring, reliability, and security of Linux-based cloud-based high-traffic services
  • Experience in large-scale cloud-based production infrastructure (AWS)
  • Expert with AWS technologies like EC2, ECS, Lambda, ELB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, VPC, Dynamo DB, RDS, etc
  • Expert experience with Docker and other container technology
  • Strong experience with Log Analysis and Monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, New Relic, Grafana
  • Experience with any relevant language (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Rust, Bash, etc.)
  • Expert experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, Artifactory, GIT, etc
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL RDBMS databases and SQL
  • Any experience with Machine Learning is a bonus
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field; ideally Computer Science
