Description

As a member of the Finance Department, the Accounting Assistant performs a variety of routine and some non-routine
clerical/accounting functions in the business office to ensure that accurate and timely financial/statistical information is
being processed.

**QUALIFICATIONS

Grade 12 education or equivalent
Completion of the second level of a recognized Accounting Program or an equivalent combination of education

and experience as recognized by the NHR

Excellent knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet)
Minimum three (3) years' experience in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions of a hospital,

and/or equivalent related experience required

Experience working with a large, integrated computerized financial system, preferably Great Plains
Accurate word processing at 40 words per minute (typing test will be required)
Satisfactory employment record required
