Job description
Weidmark Integrated Technologies is seeking on site installers for wiring residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

You will work as part of a team to wire buildings for all the technology they require in both a construction and retro setting.

There are endless technologies to learn and lots of opportunities for training and advancing your career.


Responsibilities

  • Learn all wiring standards and best practices for each technology. You will be training and reporting to the project manager for each site.
  • Follow all safety standards in construction and nonconstruction environments while using ladders, lifts, and power tools.
  • Keeping up to date work orders, documentation, and communications with team leaders, site supervisors, and clients.

Typical Activities Include:


  • Installation and configuration of wire and equipment for several technologies
  • Interacting with clients to address operational concerns
  • Loading the work van with the wire and equipment for each day as well as unloading, cleaning, and organizing for the upcoming projects
  • Assisting supervisor and/or other team members with preparation of reports and documentation as required
  • Providing technical support when required
  • Preparing weekly status reports for management
  • Attending meetings when required
  • Researching new hardware and software developments
  • Keeping current with new industry developments

Position Requirements:


  • Minimum: High School diploma, post secondary diploma required.
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Physically able to carry 50 lbs. as well as load and unload large amounts of site materials
  • Must possess the following;
  • Be comfortable working with power tools, lifts, and in a construction environment
  • Be highly organized, motivated and focused
  • Be capable of working independently
  • Be able to work well in a team
  • Be able to communicate fluently in English (written and oral)
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
  • Must undergo a security check

Definite Assets:


  • Previous wiring experience
  • Post secondary education in a technology field

Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:


This job requires on site work in residential and office spaces, our team is highly encouraged to get vaccinated and wear all necessary PPE.
