What we offer


The Procurement team in the GTL lowrise division is responsible for tendering, negotiating, and awarding large volume contracts in direct homebuilding activity.

The Manager, Procurement Finance will bring the financial acumen to showcase the performance of the Procurement team by building and developing regular performance-based reporting and dynamic direct cost models.

This individual will also take lead on providing direct cost assumptions to the finance department that inform forecast, 5-year planning, land acquisition and pre-sale proformas.


What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain direct cost models to support Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) assumptions for the 2year forecast and 5year plan submitted to Finance. Develop bridges and variance analysis to explain plan over plan and year over year changes.
  • Build and maintain the direct cost budgets for proformas required prior to a community launch, or land acquisition providing variance analysis vs budget.
  • Support the Finance Post Budget Review by validating direct costs and providing variance analysis vs the community launch proforma.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting that highlights the department's latest outlook vs prelaunch proformas and 5year plan.
  • Working with procurement estimators to develop and maintain detailed driverbased cost models to be used for contract awarding and assessing new product development.
  • Support any finance driven direct costs requests within the division, costing out perspective plan and elevations or trade specific costing.
  • Strive for continuous improvement of both financial and operational processes within the procurement department.

  • University degree with CPA Designation and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Self
- motivated, detail-oriented individual who can multitask effectively.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide meaningful insights through effective financial modeling,
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to flex from focusing on micro level detail to thinking strategically.
  • Results oriented with the ability to set realistic and attainable goals.
  • Ability to manage and oversee processes and work in a collaborative work environment.

Bonus points

  • Knowledge of JDE, Build Pro and Hyperion/OneStream (financial reporting tools).
  • Previous finance homebuilding experience.
