The
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Provide input into the Canada regional business plan/Playbook and budget and deliver on expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with GM, Marketing Director and Partner lead to develop annual product strategies for the market and determine commercial approach with a specific focus on events for existing and prospective members and partners.
- Analyze nonpreferred production reports and propose strategies on how to improve production through marketing and event initiatives.
- Create and deliver on annual marketing plans and strategies that maximize investment with Virtuoso and ROI for the partner.
- Responsible for providing reviews and recommendations relative to market and quality of Virtuoso products and events to regional and global teams.
- Drive communications and all activities with respect to marketing and regional events.
- Support Marketing Director, global marketing and PR teams to ensure they are kept abreast of market needs, competitive news, and potential business impacts.
- Align with global events team to develop and execute crosscountry inperson meetings, conferences and activities that boost member and partner engagement and sales.
- Provide local market intelligence to partners so they can better understand the agencies inmarket to increase engagement and marketing opportunities.
- Manage marketing, events, and product margin in accordance with the business plan/Playbook and budget.
- Ensure compliance with the Virtuoso "Playbook"
- Provide onsite support to Canadian meetings and events
Educational and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 35 years of related work experience
- Industry experience and understanding of the market
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred
- Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Innovative, forward thinking, curious and creative
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated organizational skills, ability to manage tight turnaround projects in an atmosphere that is conducive to change or delays
- Effective verbal communication skills to ensure a good understanding by all participants in the areas of planning, development and implementation of events
- Ability to lead people, projects, and drive team engagement
- Understanding and execution of brand management, driving growth and awareness
- Current business trend knowledge and marketplace reference
- Strong collaborative skills in inspiring winwinwin outcomes
- Selfstarter with the ability to work independently
- Works well both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve independently in a deadline driven environment

Travel Requirements:
- Travel is required, approximately 25%+ to attend events, member conferences, and team meetings.
- Travel will be primarily domestic but could include some international.
Type/Nature of Contacts:
- Internal**:This role will support the Canada Regional market with a strong alignment to global marketing and PR. Key job contacts are primarily regional team, Marketing, Events team, Product Management, Partner Relations and the Regional General Manager.
- External: Majority of time spent in market.
