Job Description:


The supply chain optimization analyst is responsible for setting up or improving the systems, management tools and processes specific to the supply chain department of UAP, Heavy Vehicle Parts Division (HVPD).

This person must ask diagnostics to identify opportunities for improvement, develop solutions and implement them to support the team in achieving business objectives.

The person will also be responsible for ensuring that the solutions in place meet the business needs of the division in addition to complying with best business practices in supply chain management.

Finally, the person must also make sure to measure the improvements generated by the changes implemented in order to present these results to the product management team.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, develop and implement the processes, systems and tools necessary to optimize inventory management for HVPD;
  • Ensure the compliance of the procurement team in terms of parameters and work procedures;
  • Participate in IT development projects involving the procurement department as the functional lead of the procurement team;
  • Ensure the management of the control parameters of the DPR supply system.
  • Maintain the integrity and develop the various Access databases used by the procurement department;
  • Produce reports to measure the impact of the changes implemented.

Qualifications:

To join our team, you must, among other things have:

  • University degree in Administration, Operations and Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering;
  • Bilingual, English and French to collaborate with colleagues across Canada
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and Access required;
  • Very good knowledge of procurement optimization software;
  • Ability to analyze, solve complex problem, with different variables;
  • Ability to understand and transpose business issues in order to properly define processes and maintain technologies specific to the supply chain;
  • High technology skils.
