- Maintain and repair various types of electrical powered material handling equipment
- Travel to clients facilities to assist with repairs to in house machines
- Look up part numbers required for repairs and place orders with parts department
- Source parts and contact parts suppliers
- Maintain service manuals and update service bulletins of any important information that needs to be conveyed to other employees
- Keep work area clean and in good working condition (i.e. tools, parts, PPE, health & safety policies, service manuals)
- Other duties as assigned
- Must possess at least 3 years of experience working in either the automotive or heavy equipment industry
- Prior experience working on servicing forklifts or other material handling equipment is considered to be a strong asset
- Must possess a valid drivers' license with a clean abstract
- Must possess own set of basic hand and power tools
- Experience with industrial equipment that involves lifting/rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment
