THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated professional with diverse hands-on and management experience with a proven background for connecting technology to business outcomes.
Reporting directly to the Associate Director, Business Relationship Manager, the Technology Enablement Manager will partner with Data & Technology leaders, delivery partners and business teams to support the design, enablement, configuration and implementation of digital solutions that increase individual, team, and cross-functional productivity.

This role is based in downtown Toronto under a hybrid work policy, allowing employees the flexibility to work remotely and in-office (approximately two days per week in-office).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The Technology Enablement Manager will be responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to the following:
- Manage the intake process to prioritize, monitor and report on enablement initiatives.
- Identify synergies among business initiatives across multiple organization units.
- Lead and establish the capabilities to build solutions on enterprise business platforms, which include document management, knowledge management, and workflow management (eg. SharePoint, Workflows, Power Automate).
- Guide business teams, gather business requirements and translate these requirements into practical, scalable, technology solutions.
- Work closely with Data and Technology teams to ensure that the delivery of solutions align to UPP strategies.
- Prepare organizational level, and portfolio level status reports on active initiatives.
- Prioritize issues and address them through appropriate escalation.
- Maintain proper records of Risks, Decisions, Key Business Dates, Partners, etc. of open issues that may affect the Data and Technology organization.
- Keep Business Partners informed of changes. Help the Managing Director of Data and Technology keep track of the group's commitments, as well as any progress and deviation from plans.
- Coordinate with other teams the completion of various projects, capture and document requirements, communicate them effectively and precisely to technology delivery partners
- Manage a Kanban of backlogs, for all Data and Technology initiatives
- Maintain and monitor Data and Technology Budget
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Postsecondary degree or equivalent, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 35 years of information technology and data experience
- Proficient with Agile Methodology and usage of Kanban (JIRA, Gitlab)
- Experience coordinating with various business units to follow up on tasks and deliverables
- Proven experience managing a Portfolio of Initiatives and Projects, including prioritization, and changes
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, Power Automate
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Exposure, or experience in financial business reporting and statistical modelling
- Strong problem solving and analytical ability
- Ability to adapt to new concepts quickly and efficiently
