Reporting the President, the Vice President of Marketing is a pivotal leadership role with accountability for the successful performance of the North American Keilhauer business.

Specifically, this individual collaborates with the senior leadership team to develop, implement and communicate the enterprise-level strategy of the organization.

Leading the Marketing, Customer Service, and Sustainability teams, the Vice President of Marketing ensures the development and implementation of a comprehensive customer experience.

Founded in 1981, Keilhauer is a North American, privately owned, design-focused contract furniture manufacturer. Keilhauer manufactures seating and tables that makes work more comfortable for all.

Keilhauer products are thoughtfully made to support communication and engagement in spaces such as meeting rooms, collaboration areas, lobbies and lunchrooms.

Working with world-renowned furniture designers, Keilhauer is internationally recognized for award-winning design, built with extreme craftsmanship, to the highest environmental standards.


In April 2023, Keilhauer was recognized by the Canada's Top 100 Employers editorial competition as one of Canada's Greenest Employers for 2023.

This marks the ninth consecutive year and the 10th year overall that the company has been selected for this prestigious distinction.

The company employs 245 highly engaged team members at two manufacturing sites, and one warehousing site, all located in Scarborough, Ontario.

Keilhauer operate showrooms in the major design centres of New York City, Chicago, and recently opened its first furniture showroom in downtown Toronto at 150 King Street East.

The showroom was designed to have a gallery-like feeling and is the perfect stage for presenting the latest Keilhauer designs to their clients.


The Position:


The Vice President of Marketing is a pivotal leadership role with accountability for the successful performance of the North American Keilhauer business.

The VP of Marketing will collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop, implement and communicate the enterprise-level strategy of the organization.

Leading the Marketing, Customer Service, and Sustainability teams, the VP of Marketing ensures the development and implementation of a comprehensive customer experience.


The VP of Marketing will oversee a team of 20 including brand, digital, social media, sampling, public relations and showroom functions, with skills in strategic marketing planning coupled with an ability to direct customer service and warranty teams, and sustainability teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience for the B2B consumer.


The VP of Marketing is an extraordinary leadership opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic leader with a can-do attitude, with exceptional problem-solving skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

More specifically, the Vice President of Marketing will be accountable for the following:

Strategic Leadership

  • In partnership with the Strategic Leadership Team, establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization and share ideas to improve the organization. Recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities, processes and procedure improvements to meet strategic, operational and financial goals.
  • Establishes, communicates, and implements marketing, customer service, and sustainabilityrelated policies, practices, standards, and measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
  • Develops and builds a culture of engagement at all levels of the business to provide highly energized teams with the flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business and create a positive work environment that consistently meets/exceeds performance metrics.
  • Oversees and manages marketing agency relationship and negotiations, including media and brand agencies.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with industry organizations such as Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer's Association (BIFMA) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
  • Keeps abreast of global, federal, provincial and municipal developments, laws and policies that may affect the marketing and sustainability operations of the organization.
  • Participates in the growth of the organization, including involvement with real estate ventures for North American showroom requirements.

Brand Management

  • Drives the marketing, customer service and sustainability planning of the company by analyzing performance, goals and contextual landscape.
