Description
We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our expanding dealership. The successful applicant will act as liaison between customers and our service department.

Salary to be negotiated

Duties are but not limited to:

  • Check in customers daily for their appointments, and discussing their needs
  • Communicate technician's findings to customers to help inform them on decision making
  • Add / update detailed information on work orders, preparing repair orders by detailing the vehicle's problems or symptoms
  • Schedule repairs with the shop for the day and returning repairs
  • Educate customers on future maintenance services/ recommended maintenances
  • Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
  • Testdriving vehicles to confirm the customers' vehicle is repaired as needed
  • Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • Keep up to date with Nissan Canada qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service skills in order to handle customer complaints and questions effectively
  • Critical thinking, organization, time management and problemsolving skills to perform their job successfully
  • Ability to interpret technical terms to the customers
  • Patience to cope with different customers' personalities
  • Decisionmaking skills
  • Proficiency with industryspecific software, CDK is an asset
