PROJECT ASSISTANT, TEMPORARY FULL TIME
(contract ending on May 31, 2024; potential to renew)

70 Hours Bi-Weekly | Non-Union| Days Shift


Reporting to the Manager, Projects & Evaluation, the Project Assistant will support the educational and administrative activities of the Learning Inter-Professionally Healthcare Accelerator (LIPHA) project at the Ontario Centres for Learning, Research & Innovation (Ontario CLRI) at Baycrest.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing content updates, uploads, and troubleshooting in the game platform (LIPHA) as required
  • Routinely beta testing the game platform to proactively identify potential issues and suggesting fixes, where applicable
  • Codeveloping and/or implementing naming and image conventions across the game platform
  • Attending weekly LIPHA Champion Circles to support LIPHA users and CLRI team members
  • Providing helpdesk ticket support and ensuring highquality customer service for users of the game platform
  • Completing projectspecific administration
- and logistics-related tasks, as delegated

  • Working with team members to suggest, implement, and maintain digital filing systems
  • Assisting with data collection, data entry, data cleaning, analysis, data backups, and reporting (qualitative and quantitative data), as needed
  • Preparing documents, PowerPoint slides, and taking meeting minutes
  • Working with the team to aid in the development of recruitment, onboarding, and implementation materials (e.g., flyers, knowledge products)
  • Collaborating with key partners and internal and external stakeholders to achieve project aims
  • Other tasks related to this project or the Centre's activities may also be allocated based on the Centre's needs and the successful incumbent's interest/availability

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Education, eLearning, Computer Technology, or any other related field) is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Interest in innovative approaches to healthcare education
  • Comfort and experience learning new technology
  • A desire to provide highquality customer service experiences for end users
  • Enjoys working in a fastpaced, innovative environment
  • A strong willingness to learn and take initiative as appropriate
  • Ability to navigate multiple competing priorities and takes initiative to ask for support and guidance as needed
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods (quantitative and/or qualitative)
  • Detailoriented, with analytical problemsolving ability
  • Ability to prioritize/manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in use of educational and communication technologies including teleconferencing, learning platforms, and project management platforms
  • An interest in learning about project management and evaluation is an asset
  • Experience working with survey tools and polling software is an asset
  • Experience supporting the development of reports is an asset
  • Knowledge of longterm care and seniors' care is an asset
