Description

The famous Jam Café is looking for an energetic full time line cook to join our fabulous crew and assist our kitchen chef in the overall day to day duties.


We are a very high-volume breakfast establishment that is open from 8 am until 2 pm during the weekdays and 8am until 3pm on weekends.

The hours of operation offer a great working environment and are conducive to a normal work day.


If you have great people and kitchen skills and are able to excel in high pressure situations and are able to play well with others, then this is a great opportunity.


You would be working side by side with our lead kitchen manager to learn all the aspects of running a busy breakfast line.

From poaching eggs to slinging pancakes, you will be responsible for assisting on the main cooking line.

You will also be moved around and be doing some daily prep shifts to break up the week and learn how our food is prepped from scratch.


Your wage will be based on experience, skill and efficiency and in addition we offer an excellent tip pool that is based on sales that is meant to create a more level playing field for all employees.


Applicants must have at least their Food Safe Level 1 and have open availability as far as a work scedule.
