About the role

  • Manage development of labor and material cost estimates of manufacturing based on request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers. Direct the analyses of specifications and calculation of production and material costs. Oversee the creation of cost models for cost estimating elements within manufacturing. Manages the preparation of cost reports.
  • Manages the planning, preparation, issuance, and control of production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for preparing estimates to account for costs of execution including Production resource hours, procurement of hardware and delivery of Finished Goods

What you bring to the role

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Costing background, Microsoft Excel Advanced skills, SAP skills
