    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage and oversee scheduling functions, monitoring progress, risk management, and reporting for moderate to high-risk capital engineering and construction projects.
    2. Plan and schedule projects, measure progress, identify issues, and provide solutions.
    3. Participate in establishing operating policies to mitigate risks and guide planning team members.
    4. Interact with the Project Management team and corporate team to develop project schedules and participate in regular project meetings.
    5. Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule and ensure trends of cost and schedule are identified.
    6. Ccoordinate with cross-functional teams and manage project baseline processes for schedule and progress measurement.
    7. Mentor and lead other project planners/scheduling members and manage staffing issues.
    8. Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slippages identified in the schedule.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related fields, and at least ten years of experience in management, with six years in a leadership role in project controls.
    • High School diploma or GED and fifteen years' experience in engineering, construction, project controls, or business-related fields, with at least six years in a leadership role in project controls planning and scheduling.

    Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

    ">
    • Fluency in English and broad knowledge of heavy industrial construction principles and practices.
    • Ability to research and analyze information, draw valid conclusions, and follow safety practices.
    • Experience with construction mega-projects, cost estimating, project scheduling, and project controls.
    • Skilled in related scheduling software, such as Primavera and MS Project.
