DESCRIPTION

Our Maintenance Team helps keep our locations clean and functioning for members to use, performing duties such as replacing fixtures, maintaining kitchen supplies, and setting up locations for daily use.

They will also do deep cleans of our shared appliances.

A valid Driver's License for the Province of British Columbia is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Senior Management, your work will focus on managing the cleaning and maintenance operations of the Company's commercial kitchen facilities.

This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Primary Contact for kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and repair in all facilities.
• Completion of minor repairs, assembling or setting up equipment, and maintenance needs.
• Supervising and inspecting work of janitorial team and identifying deficiencies.
• Responding to and following up on cleaning team's concerns
• Reporting any violations in cleanliness to Managers for fines.
• Maintaining/updating lists of janitorial task requirements specific to each site.
• Management of Commissary Connect inventory including janitorial supplies, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Keep record of supplies bought and mileage used for reimbursement
• Communicating status of all repairs and parts being ordered so members and staff can set expectations
• Input to policy creation, technology development and management of kitchens and to all aspects of the business
• Be a great representative for Commissary Connect
• Other projects as assigned by senior management

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
• Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Very good physical condition and strength
• Great communication skills
• Flexibility as no two days are the same

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour
