We are in search of committed experienced and compassionate caregivers...If you are cheerful and receptive as you administer care to our seniors you would be a great fit with our team.


SHIFT:
Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10pm to 7am.


TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist residents with personal care, including dressing, mobility, personal hygiene, eating and transporting
  • Remind/supervise/administer medication
  • Update charts
  • Maintain open communication between management, families and health care professionals regarding client's medical and emotional condition
  • Document and report any changes in residents' health status
  • Ensure highest client safety and wellbeing
  • Housekeeping
  • Preparing and serving meals.

NECESSARY QUALITIES AND APTITUDES:

  • Good Attitude, Treat elders with compassion, dignity and care
  • Being attentive, calm, patient and discreet.
  • Easy to work in a team (have to work in close collaboration with other colleagues, CLSC nurses, etc.)
  • Good written and oral communication skills,
  • Nursing background a "BIG" asset...
  • References, Recommendations...
  • Clean Criminal record.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 1 month


Salary:
From $20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Baie-D'Urfé, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • PAB (preferred)
  • PDSB (preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • Law 90 (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Overnight Shift (required)
