is looking for an _experienced and hardworking _
Heavy Equipment Technician for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

Responsibilities:
- Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
- Interface with field staff in order to diagnose repairs
- Work with the Fleet Manager on various tasks
- Provide support with reference to onsite safety requirements
- Act as a leader and mentor for other members of the shop
Qualifications:
- Minimum 25 years' experience
experience working in
civil construction is considered an asset:
Must have 2-5 years of leadership experience:- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line, _considered an asset_
- Must possess a strong dedication to safety
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience, _considered an asset_
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing, _considered an asset_
- Ability to perform tasks with mínimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude
