    Diamond Electrical Contractors is a leader in electrical contracting services, delivering high-quality solutions to commercial/industrial clients. We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Electrical Field Coordinator/Scheduler to join our team and help ensure the smooth execution of field operations and scheduling across multiple job sites.

    The Electrical Field Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling the daily activities of field crews, ensuring materials and labor are available as needed, and maintaining efficient project timelines. This role bridges the gap between project management and field execution, playing a key role in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. This fast paced and hands-on position requires a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail. As the Field Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of functions including; maintaining a highly accurate scheduling system, insuring quality of installations, DEC presence and final cleanup on sites and acting as a mentor for apprentice electricians and journeymen while being a liaison for information passage from and to sites.

    To be successful in your role you must:

    · Have excellent time management skills

    · Have the knowledge of building systems in order to schedule manpower accordingly

    · Have demonstrated ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, and determine wiring and equipment layouts for new and existing installations

    · Have the ability to assist Project Leads as required

    · Coordinate with other trades when necessary

    · Be able to utilize technology

    · Be capable of working independently in a demanding and fast paced environment

    · Have a good understanding of the health and safety compliance regulations and have a proven commitment to safety

    · Have a thorough understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code and a moral obligation to uphold the responsibilities set forth by the OESL

    You must have the following minimum requirements:

    · Proven experience in electrical construction or coordination.

    · Strong scheduling and coordination skills in field operations.

    · Proficiency with scheduling tools.

    · Working knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and safety practices.

    · Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    · Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

    · Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

    · Valid driver's license.

    · High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical training or degree in electrical or construction management is a plus.

    · 309A Construction and Maintenance Licence considered an asset

    · Red Seal certificate considered an asset

    In this role, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

    · Scheduling, tracking and organization of manpower daily

    · Maintaining an accurate scheduling system and uploading into the shared calendar or other program as determined.

    · Being the liaison between the jobsites and office.

    · Reviewing and collecting weekly hours to be submitted to accounting for payroll

    · Mentoring and training Apprentices and Journeymen when required

    · Being final Quality control check on sites for both ongoing work and final clean up.

    · Conducting regular site visits

    · Resolving setbacks to ensure timelines and costs for projects are met (in conjunction with PM's)

    · Conducting quality control walk-throughs and the follow up of deficiencies

    · Creating and updating job tickets as required along with PM's

    You must also be able to:

    · Establish a cordial relationship with the general contractors and with other disciplines on the job sites to maintain a professionally friendly environment

    · Adhere to all regulations on customer sites

    · Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations

    · Consistently attempt to improve on product knowledge

    · Accept, and redirect, questions to the proper people within the Diamond office
