What you'll do

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

General


Create a work ethic in the Professional Services team that is built around the ability to acquire, serve, and retain clients (Tecsys Customer for Life philosophy).

Motivate and inspire the Professional Services team while maximizing billable hours.

Provide passionate leadership, coaching and guidance to the Professional services team.

Foster within the team, effective communication with all other Tecsys teams

Analyze and recommend improvements to Professional Services processes

Maintain high level of productivity for the team

Enable a 70% utilization for the team members

Meet or surpass targeted quarterly KPI's (productive utilization, billable utilization) and indirectly help to influence revenue, cost and margin.

Provide feedback to Senior Management regarding the performance of the team's resources and/or resources from other teams.

Recommend any additional reporting and measurement metrics to help evaluate and improve performance.

Project Team Definition

  • Work closely with Team Leadership, Project Managers and the Resource Manager to effectively staff and support successful projects.
Methodology

  • Provide insight and contribute to methodology and ensure team members follow the methodology and provide input for suggested changesoNew Releases
  • Ensure your team is knowledgeable of all new features and functions
  • Ensure team develops documentation for new releases and functionality
  • With your team, define an approach for how to better document new features, functionality, and test scenarios
Delivery Excellence

  • Provide tactical, strategic and operational leadership to constantly deliver excellent customer service.
  • Execute reviews with regards to Adherence to Methodology, Quality of Deliverables and Actual Work Efforts made on projects
Continuous Improvements

  • Drive continuous improvements on implementations
Project Delivery

  • Participate on projects to the level deemed to be necessary to make the project team and project successful
  • Review deliverables and provide constructive feedback
  • Review project work and provide guidance to project team
  • Review methodology gates and provide guidance to project team
  • Travel to client site when necessary

What do you bring to the role?

  • 35 years of line management experience in a software implementation environment
  • 35 years of client management experience
  • Healthcare operational and/or software implementation experience
  • Excellent time management
  • Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Ability to work in a highly organized fashion with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
  • Strong crossfunctional collaboration
  • Able to maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.

  • Excellent understanding of requirements definition, business process mapping, software configuration, data loading, testing and training
  • Knowledge and understanding of hospital supply and inventory management a preferred asset
  • Knowledge of medical terminology a preferred asset
  • Integrated distribution, warehouse and transportation operational processes experience in a healthcare environment a preferred asset
  • Project Management knowledge an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office Programs; MS Word & advanced Excel skills are required.
