JOB DESCRIPTION:

Weissach, Canada's largest independent Porsche store in Vancouver is looking to add a Parts and Service Advisor to the team


Reporting to the Service Director, and working cooperatively with all other teams, the Weissach Parts and Service Advisor will be responsible of communicating effectively with customers and internal staff regarding parts and service, scheduling service appointments, dispatching work to technicians and checking-cars in.

This is an integral role for the company, contributing to the growth and value of our company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


PARTS:


  • Effectively communicate with customers and internal staff regarding parts and accessories
  • Assist the parts manager with ongoing tasks
  • Provide service director with pricing and availability in a timely manner
  • Assess and stock parts as needed for quality and availability
  • Process requests for special orders: entering data into DMS, obtain funds [paid in full], order and track parts, notify of delivery or delays
  • Inspect incoming parts for conformity and damage
  • Provide sales team with relevant pricing and availability on parts and accessories

SERVICE:


  • Check cars in: Verify Vin's, license plates and mileage. Photograph cars and damage before the vehicle enters the shop.
  • Check customers in. Review customer concerns, advise on services due, go over previous deferred services. Keep customers updated while the vehicle is in the shop.
  • Complete work orders: Ensure proper information, time punches, and sublets are input correctly.
  • Dispatch work to Technicians
  • Deal with Sublets
  • Details, towing, wheel repairs, etc
  • Assist with reviewing invoices with customers and taking payment.
  • Receive phone calls, booked service appointments for Service Department

YOUR SKILL SET:


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with European make models
  • Efficiency and timeliness in completing work
  • Complete tasks on schedule with responsibility and accountability
  • Interpersonal skills and collaboration work effectively with employees and customers
  • Communication professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy complete transactions accurately and maintain records and maintain the integrity of our DMS system
  • Ability to adapt to change take on additional tasks as required (e.g. urgent requests, teamwork, workload, rush jobs, new technology)
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • English, written and spoken

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:


  • Frequently manage deadlines
  • Routinely stand during work hours
  • Routinely work with loud noise from the shop
  • Occasionally lift moderate weight
  • Occasionally work outside of regular work schedule
  • Occasionally respond to emergency situations
  • Occasionally manage stressful situations involving upset or impatient people
  • Work environment necessitates proper personal protective equipment in keeping health and safety requirements
