Job description
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic self starter who is able to work independently to join our expanding team of Route Sales Representatives.

Experience with Confectionary, Potato Chips and Beverages a strong asset.
As a Route Sales Representative, there are two key responsibilities:
(1) Growing the route through maximizing existing and new customer opportunities.
(2) Providing excellent customer service through delivery of product, invoicing & merchandising.
You will be responsible for continuing to build the route for a successful high-growth business.
You will support an assigned group of retail customers, including grocery, gas and convenience stores, and opening up new business

Responsibilities:
- Follow a daily route schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional overnight travel may be required (we cover all expenses)
- Communicate with store owners/managers daily to sell and merchandise products in stores
- Assist store managers with purchasing decisions rotate stock, manage inventory levels to ensure fresh product
- Stock shelves, and set up displays and marketing materials in stores according to store planogram
- Visit new accounts and set up displays
- Cultivate new accounts in your territory and upsell existing customers
- Use company handheld device to create invoices and receive payments
- Maintain inventory on truck, place weekly orders with warehouse in Ontario
- Review invoices daily to ensure they are accurate and monies accounted for
- Load and unload truck, maintain neat display of products on vehicle
- Safe operation of a company vehicle (truckvan)
- Increase customer satisfaction and grow your route efficiently
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Hold a valid drivers license
- Minimum 1 years route/sales delivery experience
- Clean driving abstract
- G Class
- Criminal background check must be bondable
- Minimum 21 years of age for vehicle insurance
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, be physically active for most of shift
- Available for early morning shift start time
- Clean and tidy appearance
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve customer concerns
- No French required
