Job Description:
Position Summary:
- Move pallets of inventory and keep records of inventory moved
- Perform minor maintenance work
- General labour duties
- Maintain nursery roads and facilities as required
- Off loading and Loading truck trailers
- Perform physical labour pushing pallets of rolling stock to accessible areas for forklift transport.
- Working with seeding and plant lifting lines supplying and moving material
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Valid class 5 drivers license and a valid certification for operating various mobile equipment or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated adherence to safe work practice in a production/farm environment
- Work requires precision, detail and an ability to perform in a high paced work environment
- Ability to follow instructions, and communicate well with others
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs. regularly and work under the elements of the outdoors
- Experience in a shipping/receiving role will be considered an asset
- Experience with Excavators, Skid Steers, Scissor lift and other elevated work platforms is considered an asset.

- Starting wage $21 per hour with an increase to $21.50 per hour upon successful 3month performance review.
