Job Description:
The Associate is the first reviewer of new deals and relied upon to capture information and nuances from detailed credit agreements.
They will manage and maintain their client portfolios, process life cycle events, review and reply to the client and other external parties.
These tasks are critical to client service and require a high level of attention to detail, teamwork, and time management.
Our clients require detailed custom reporting for regulatory or operational tasks, further reinforcing the importance of attention to detail in our operations group.
Our objective is to deliver a top quality professional service commensurate with the reputation of Mitsubishi professional services globally. The Associate is an important part of the client relationship and contributes materially to the Client experience.- Daily portfolio maintenance through processing lifecycle events and restructurings
- Review and set up of new securities or deals including any relevant attributes
- Provide reporting services to internal and external stakeholders
- Provide reporting and support the client operations team during the valuation cycle
- Position substantiation on a quarterly basis for each portfolio
- Take advantage of SMEs or relevant resources to expand knowledge and understanding
Qualifications:
- University or College business degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years operations or accounting experience with Syndicated or Private debt is required
- Fund accounting experience is an asset, but not required
- Working understanding of Syndicated or Private loans and their underlying principles
- Working knowledge of interest and time value of money principles
- Working understanding of accounting principles
- Working level of competency with technology
