If you're an enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist who is eager to make a difference while achieving personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an exceptional opportunity for you to meet these goals.

As a part time Speech Language Pathologist works as part of the Home Health School-Based Services team serving communities in the Durham region such as Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and Bowmanville.

Provisional supervision is available for new graduates.


Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

  • Create and contribute to excellence in the client/stakeholder experience
  • Provide client care either in person (in private schools) or virtually, as permitted
  • Lead patients through individualized care plans, accurately assessing, communicating and providing treatment to facilitate goal attainment for the client
  • Liaise with referral sources and funders to build relationships and ensure clients' needs are met
  • Provide written reports ensuring all documentation is aligned with College and CBI Health standards
  • Contribute to the team through collaboration, demonstrating passion for the work you do and using good judgement and integrity in decision making
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of patient progress
  • Engage in continuous learning and skills development

Here's what you need to be successful**- You are registered as a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario

  • Your focus is to embrace person and familycentered care
  • You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently
  • You have the ability to travel within community as part of the CBI Health Home Health Services team
