Job Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer plant locations as requested by service coordinator in central office, to perform technical services on Biesse America machinery and provide service and customer support;
  • Provide training to customers and other service technicians;
  • Manage all onsite installation, preprogramming, repair, maintenance and test tasks;
  • Test run machinery installed to verify functioning of all capabilities;
  • Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner;
  • Provide show room demos and shows for customers;
  • Provide maintenance and operation training to customer representatives, to the extent needed to allow customer to maintain and utilize the machinery according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications. Includes walking customer through all supplied manuals and providing detailed explanations and instructions;
  • Analyze and diagnose all machinery malfunctioning cases, whether electronic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, system or other in nature. Determine the best course of action to resolve the problem(s) and directly taking all necessary actions to implement or make all arrangements to ensure that the company's organization can effectively provide a solution to the problems the customer is encountering with the machinery purchased;
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes;
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations;
  • Build positive relationships with customers and provide customer satisfaction;
  • Follow workflow electronic work orders of assigned schedule work;
  • Attend product and service training locally and internationally; and
  • Work with spare parts, team leaders, hotliners, and customer service representatives to action customer queries.

Qualifications

  • Must live within a 1hour commute of an airport
  • Experience in technical service interventions mainly on industry machineries
  • Bachelors, Technical Diploma or Equivalent work experience
  • Troubleshooting ability
  • Mechanical, electronic/electrical, and pneumatic principles knowledge
  • Expertise in the use of mechanical and electrical measuring instruments
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Strong command of the English language
