The Great Canadian Meat Company in Whitby is hiring a sandwich maker for weekdays and Saturdays. We provide a high quality of service to our customers on a daily basis.

Currently in need of team members available to start ASAP - all daytime hours - no Sundays or evenings after 6:30pm

Must be available to work Saturdays.

Roles and Responsibilities

Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and timely manner
Take orders, handle cash, stock shelves and maintain cleanliness of store
Make sandwiches, slice meats
Maintain an understanding and knowledge of menu items and ingredients, as well as any specials
Understand or ability to learn food handling, safety and sanitization standards
Daily cleaning of all work surfaces, floors, equipment, storage containers etc
Must have good work ethic
Ability to learn and use a POS (Point of Sale) computer and cash register
Ability to be a self starter and work as part of a team
Ability to stand for whole shift
Should be comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
Must have reliable transportation
Above average pay
Must be available to work Saturdays closed Sundays, Mondays and evenings.
