The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for
Math Sessional Instructors **to teach University Transfer Courses on campus.

These part-time sessional positions will
commence in May 2023 and end in August 2023.
Key Responsibilities

Instructors' primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s.
-
Master's degree in Mathematics

Online and facetoface
experience teaching Mathematics at another postsecondary institution.
Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset)
Demonstrated success in innovative or studentcentered teaching techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Salary

For a course with four contact hours and two office hours, an instructor with a Master's degree will be paid the gross amount of $8,252.78, and an instructor with a Ph.

D. will be remunerated the gross amount of $9,211.36.

For a course with eight contact hours and two office hours, an instructor with a Master's degree will be paid the gross amount of $13,754.63, and an instructor with a Ph.

D. will be remunerated the gross amount of $ 15,352.26.

The course compensation is linked to
teaching hours.
