Brandt is currently seeking an Inventory Analyst for our Regina location.

This position is responsible for maintaining Brandt's Estimate To Cash (ETC) data inputs and reporting tools to enable effective inventory planning that includes allocation of inventory and accurate order timing.

Reporting to the Parts Data Analytics Manager, the Inventory Analyst will be the lead to gather and report on key ETC inputs such as sales forecasts, order lead times, and historical data.

Effective asset management is an integral piece of Brandt's continued growth. Managing assets to meet Brandt's sales goals, and financial control metrics will be key to future success.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Report Creation and Running (Stock Leveling / Returns / Data Integrity)
  • Running price tapes, checks, and updates within the business system
  • Complete price checks at bordering dealers quarterly
  • Able to perform Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) operations as required.
  • Ensure the update of all prices assigned from Peterbilt aligns with our pricing strategy.
  • Provide input on pricing changes that need to be made.
  • Set up parts inventory stocking hubs for parts needed regionally to centralize parts which are not supportable at each location.
  • Create reporting for the Purchase of Peterbilt Parts for the negotiation of best pricing as Peterbilt flyers are completed 2 months in advance with 45 sales sheets per month.
  • Perform Return processes including initiating the returns and maintenance of the inventory because of returns (AR Docs / Removal of Inventory)
  • Monitor inventory counts.
  • Provide coaching/motivation on completing inventory counts.
  • Special Projects (Product Changeover / Cross References / Strategic Sourcing)
  • Create larger topup, seasonal or container load orders to be reviewed by the Inventory Manager.

Required Skills:


  • Must be an analytical thinker and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Power BI & Python is considered is strongly preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, willing to put in extra time as needed to get the job done
Required Experience

  • Experience within the equipment industry, inventory management, ERP system maintenance or supplychain is preferred.
  • 35 years of relevant experience and/or postsecondary education in Engineering, Business Administration, Analytics, or similar discipline would be considered an asset.
