EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - HUMAN RESOURCES (Exempt)

Full-Time One Year Term Position

35 (Langley) is looking for a talented Executive Assistant - Human Resources (Exempt) to join the District's existing team of leaders who work collaboratively to maintain a healthy, safe, and positive learning environment for all students and staff.


The opportunity:


Reporting to the Director - Human Resources, the Executive Assistant role is primarily responsible for performing a variety of complex clerical and administrative duties: managing office correspondence and communications including the Human Resources information on the District website, organizing and maintaining document filing and record-keeping, coordinating activities and scheduling meetings, and researching and preparing information on given topics.

This position is a full-time Term from April 1, April 12, 2025.

What you bring:


Completion of post-secondary courses in Business Administration and have five (5) years of related experience supporting a senior manager in an educational or public sector environment.

You will also possess exemplary keyboarding and computer skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent administrative, organizational, planning, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

A proven ability to take initiative and work independently under pressure.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.


Proven understanding and demonstration of discretion in dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature and represents the values, mandate, and policies of the Human Resources Department.

Valid BC Driver's License.
