Job Summary
Radisson Hotel and Conference Calgary Airport is looking for energetic individual for the position of Assistant Food & Beverage Manager leading the operations of restaurant and banquet facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in the development and implementation of business strategies for the restaurant which are aligned with Radisson overall mission, vision values and strategies
- Assists in the development and implementation of strategies for achieving restaurant goals and supports achievement of the hotel's goals
- Participates in the development of the annual budget
- Participates in the development of the annual restaurant marketing, sales, and strategies
- Continually improves restaurant and adheres to Radisson brand standards
- Reports food and beverage revenue, costs, Medallia scores, and prepares other reports regularly for management
- Directs daily operation and development of Restaurant and Banquet
- Ensures restaurant is meeting or exceeding brand standards
- Ensures menus, fixtures, and art are consistent with restaurant theme and brand standards
- To create checklists and processes for restaurant including opening, closing, and day to day operations including scheduling staff
- Plans restaurant special events
- Reviews guest complaints and responds as appropriate
- Ordering F&B Supplies, Cleaning Supplies, and uniforms.
- Directs restaurant to meet food safety regulations and guidelines
- Supervises, trains, and develops restaurant staff
- Provides employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities
- Provides employees with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performance objectives and reach their fullest potential
- Creates menus and chooses seasonal specials to be added
- Sets up daily specials or discounts (happy hour) to attract business
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in Food and Beverage is required.
- Degree or diploma in hospitality is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Strong floor presence with focus and energy
- Strong mathematical aptitude
Salary:
Competitive salary based on experience.
