At our London, Ontario location, built in 2014, which employees about 300 associates you will work in a highly automated, high volume production lines producing Ristorante, Casa di Mama and Giuseppe pizzas under the Dr.
Oetker label. You will be part of a team that produces the highest quality Dr. Oetker pizza, where food safety and security are of the utmost importance.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in various areas of the manufacturing process.
This includes management of employee performance, monitoring of materials, coordination of equipment issues with maintenance department, as well as ensuring adherence to safety standards.
The Production Supervisor will also oversee training of new employees, as well as ensuring quality control and quality assurance.Responsibilities:
- Ensure your team is motivated, capable, well trained and efficient to ensure targets and high standards are achieved.
- Maintain accurate record keeping related to Staff, monitoring of health and safety through PPE checks, hazard awareness and monitoring best practice.
- Monitor quality and efficiency standards, rectifying issues where possible and notifying Line Manager of any issues that need escalating.
- Monitor stock levels, material supply and material utilisation using SAP system, if required.
- Inspecting all areas of work on a daily basis identifying any areas requiring specific attention and act accordingly.
- Lead the team by example, making sure all the team follows correct PPE and food safety standards at all times.
