IT Service Desk Technician
to join our

What You'll Be Contributing:
- Work with users (Remote and Onsite) and other members of IT to collect, analyze, and document requirements for complex service requests and incidents;
- Create and maintain documentation, procedures and training materials for the end users and the Service Desk team, on off the shelf Software applications and in house developed Software and applications;
- Handle all report requests by gathering the necessary information which you will then submit to the developer, or corresponding resources;
- Collect, analyze, and document the support process for new IT systems or changes to existing ones;
- Properly evaluate, prioritize, and escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support;
- Collect information from users and dispatch service requests to proper teams;
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of service desk procedures, products and services;
- Install and configurate software and hardware for the user's computers, phones, and printers;
- Handle all user account requests for Active Directory, Email, SAP B1 and all in-house applications;
- Update support ticket data and enforce SLAs, Maintain the local inventory of IT assets;
- Walk users through problem solving process;
- Follow up with users, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution;
- Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure of tickets;
- Recommend procedure modifications and improvements.
- Complete other duties as required to support Hypertec's evolving business deliverables.
What Sets You Apart:
- Background in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in providing service desk support;
- Knowledge of Service Desk Ticketing systems, SAP business one, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Active Directory, Office 365, and ITIL;
- Knowledge of service desk software, databases and remote control (Confluence, Microsoft Teams);
- Knowledge of ticketing and remote support software;
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Critical thinking skills;
- Ability to understand and document processes and recommend improvements;
- Strong client-facing, customer service and communication skills;
- Troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills;
