Sales Account Executive - Surrey, Canada - A & A Contract Customs Brokers

Company DescriptionAt A & A, we're looking for accomplished sales professionals in the customs brokerage and logistics industry who are obsessed with exceeding customer expectations and surpassing revenue/sales targets. As part of the A & A Sales team, you'll represent the A & A brand, values & promise.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Service, the Sales Account Executive will build and manage a pipeline and connect with as many leads as possible, educate and qualify the leads they connect with, and book consultative meetings to move the sales process forward.
As a Sales Account Executive, you are a self-starter - you are someone who will acquire new business through your natural talent for building relationships and negotiating abilities as you enjoy providing real solutions for customers.
Here's how you will be successful:
- You will grow revenue and increase our base of customers by attracting new business and potential clients
- You will effectively create, manage, and close a funnel of sales opportunities using internal CRM tools
- You will build relationships with prospects to identify needs, qualify their interests and viability to drive new sales
- You will prepare and deliver personalized professional proposals that clearly communicate A & A's bestinclass solutions and value proposition to address the customers' business problem
- You will partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide prospective clients with a personalized solution for their marketplace needs.
- You will negotiate contracts, initiate orders and pursue new business with grit, energy, and determination
- You will collaborate with sales, marketing, client services, and operations team members throughout the sales and onboarding process

Qualifications:

- You are likely in a similar role today with 2+ years of B2B sales experience
- You are familiar with the customs brokerage and logistics industry; an industry designation is an asset
- You have a strong sensitivity and understanding of customers' needs, situations, and expectations
- You are successful in building business relationships and partnerships based on trust and mutual respect
- You are positive and adaptable in an everchanging environment with shifting priorities
- You have a valid driver's license and are willing to travel as required

This position will be either a fully remote or hybrid role, based on the needs of the business or our customers.
