West City Powersports has moved into a larger location which has provided us the opportunity to add to our team of enthusiast's. We are currently looking for a personable
Service Specialist to join our team. As a
Service Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for our valued customers, assisting them with their service needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for communicating with customers to answer their inquiries.
- Schedule work and assign jobs to service technicians.
- Listen to customer's description of symptoms, clarify description of concerns and prepare repair orders to provide our technicians with the information required to accurately perform services and repairs.
- Explaining vehicle diagnoses and develop a repair estimate, recommending necessary services to ensure longevity of their vehicles based on feedback from technicians.
- Review workinprogress to support quality and timeliness.
- Calling customers to advise them about service changes or pickup times.
- Occasionally assist technicians.
- Maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Ensuring all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and processing their payments.
- Look up and identify the correct parts for the technicians.
- Collaborate with the parts department to order parts required for repairs and for incoming services.
- Assist the parts department with aiding customers picking up and billing parts.
- Performs other duties and functions as directed by management in line with objectives of the dealership.
Skills Required:
- A strong understanding of powersports technology and the powersports industry.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal & written).
- Strong organizational, decision making, and problemsolving skills.
- The ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and management.
- Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for service and parts.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Belleville, ON K8N 4Z2 (required)
