hybrid (combination of in office and work from home).


  • Our team is responsible for enabling the businesses, regulators and the executive committees to assess the Capital, Credit Risk and Operational Risk measures for the bank. These processes are heavily reliant on critical technology capabilities for Speed, Accuracy and Scale. Our teams are comprised of Architects, Developers, Business/Data Analysts, QA/Support Analysts, Project & Program Managers and Scrum Masters.

Accountable for managing a large initiative within ERPM & Finance. The project managerwill lead the project from initiation to implementation to achieve desired business results.

A successful business outcome is the prime measure of project success including delivering projects on time, within budget, within quality standards and to the satisfaction of the project sponsor.

Understands the business/group and facilitates communication with other program/project managers and stakeholders efficiently and effectively.

Directs, manages, and coordinates team members including other project managers, business and technology resources, user groups, internal and external consultants, contractors, as well as vendors and external regulatory organizations.


Accountabilities:


  • Effective planning techniques to establish Scope, Schedule, and financial plans (through active collaboration with key stakeholders including internal resources, external consultants, vendors) supported by effective risk management.
  • Understands project interdependencies and demonstrates critical thinking that proactively identifies project risks and establishes effective risk mitigation from the outset.
  • Able to execute Agile practice management projects; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution (e.g., prepares and delivers presentations to all levels of management to assist the Agile team in communicating status and key decisions; facilitates meetings and working sessions that leverage the Agile practice management, tools, and techniques to foster adoption, etc.).
  • Robust monitoring for early issue identification and resolution.
  • Timely and quality communication and stakeholder management.
  • Tight change management over scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Clear and timely project status reporting.
  • Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
  • Negotiates contracts with external vendors (in consultation with Strategic Sourcing) to ensure receipt of specific resources and materials.
  • Demonstrates stakeholder partnership that involves effective communicating with the project sponsor; gains and builds trust and rapport.
  • Demonstrates ownership and commitment by holding themselves accountable for the identification and resolution of project problems.

  • Leads and/or represents the project in project team meetings, governance forums and interdepartment forums.

  • Adheres to Bank risk, regulatory and compliance controls.

Qualifications

  • Typically, between 7 of project/program management within the financial industry.
  • Experience delivering projects with mediumcomplex technology components (including data piping) and reporting.
  • Experience delivering projects within Risk and Finance pillars (Treasury, Market Risk, Credit and Operational Risk, Finance).
  • Able to navigate challenging situations effectively.
  • Learning agility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including 'C' level' communication).
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Collaborative and Influential.
  • Able to manage ambiguity.
  • Data driven decision making.


  • Influence skills

  • Indepth.
  • PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits:

$68, $126,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
