About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a
Regular Full-Time Team Lead - Analyst - Systems III to join our dynamic
IT Internal Customer Experience team.

The
IT Internal Customer Experience team is responsible for ensuring a positive and seamless experience for internal users within Canadian Blood Services who interact with IT services and systems.

Formula for success

Drawing upon your skills in project management and team leadership, you will lead a team of analysts and developers to deliver BI solutions according to customer requirements.
Utilizing your proficiency in data management, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and quality of data collected and analyzed.
Employing your technical skills in source code management, you will manage and complete source code deployments in all environments (Dev, QA, and Production).
Utilizing your knowledge of BI content management, you will manage and monitor published BI content, usage, and access, to ensure consistency and privacy.
Tapping into your mentoring and coaching abilities, you will mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Desired education and skills

Postsecondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably a College Diploma or University Degree.
Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience and skills in a Data Warehouse/Analytics environment with strong data modeling and SQL skills.
Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience and skills using Microsoft Power BI and Synapse.
Experience with Jenkins automation tool.
Experience with GitHub to maintain source code.
Knowledge or skills with Agile software development and DevOps methodologies.
Experience with one or more business or functional area such as supply chain management, finance, human resources is a strong asset.
Excellent analytical, oral, and written communications skills.

What you can expect

This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at a Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time/2 days of the week.
You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day.
