The BEST WESTERN PLUS GATINEAU-OTTAWA HOTEL, a mid-market downtown hotel with 133 rooms in Gatineau / Ottawa region is currently recruiting for the position of Executive Housekeeper.
The successful candidate should be fully bilingual in French and English and have at least 3 years of relevant experience

Reports to: General Manager
Job description
· Supervise housekeeping department
· Supervise in-house laundry services
· Supervise maintenance and repair services
· Select and purchase equipment and supplies
· Co-ordinate in-house laundry services
· Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services
· Co-ordinate contract service
Specific Skills
· Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff
· Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping team
· Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms
· Establish and implement operational procedures for housekeeping department
· Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out
· Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
· Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas
