L'Institut des sciences de la mer de Rimouski (ISMER) de l'Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR), l'un des plus importants instituts de recherche universitaire en sciences de la mer au Canada, désire engager une professeure ou un professeur régulier en océanographie biologique avec spécialisation en écologie du plancton.


The _Institut des sciences de la mer de Rimouski_ (ISMER) of the _Université du Québec à Rimouski_ (UQAR), one of Canada's leading academic marine science research institutes, is seeking a new regular professor of biological oceanography with a specialization in plankton ecology.


At the time of hiring, the chosen person must have a doctorate in a relevant discipline (oceanography, marine biology, marine ecology, microbiology, or related discipline), at least one year of postdoctoral experience and a solid research record.


Requirements:

Diploma: Ph.
D.

-
Discipline of diploma: Oceanography, marine biology, marine ecology, microbiology, or related discipline;
-
Specialization domain: Ecology of the microbial loop, phytoplankton ecology, zooplankton ecology, or trophic ecology;

Preferred areas of research:Microbiology, lower food webs, particulate matter flow, carbon export, environment and climate change;
-
Others: At least one year of postdoctoral experience.
