- Lead, manage, and execute on tasks and initiatives that drive adoption of planning in the field so that all TD Wealth clients have a financial plan;
- Provide strategic thinking to capitalize on industry and market trends to enhance business and client outcomes; and
- Executing TD Wealth's strategy as it relates to our value proposition.
Job Requirements
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a team of Centralized Planners who support advisors with developing financial plans
- Providing ongoing coaching to team related to quality of financial plans and relationship building within their dedicated regions
- Develop and execute of strategies to increase adoption of financial planning
- Effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders for ongoing effectiveness and improvement of the financial planning software, plan quality, and planning outcomes
- Manage team efficiencies and resources to ensure plans are completed within stated SLA
- Proactively seek opportunities to elevate financial planning proficiency with advisors
- Work effectively to develop and maintain relationships with Field Leaders including Branch Managers, Region Head, Market Managers
- Deliver wealth planning presentations to advisors and clients
- Develop strong internal and external networks
- Minimize costs and manage business to avoid financial losses and reputational damage to TDBFG
- Carry out other tasks and duties as assigned by manager
Additional Information
Education/Accreditations:
- Undergraduate degree
- People Management experience
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in all aspects of Wealth Planning
- Complex Financial Planning experience
- Strong analytical and judgment skills.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Voyant (Financial Planning software).
- Ability to manage a team of high performing individuals
Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Minimum 8 years of financial or wealth planning experience
- A selfstarter with the ability to work independently and to provide high quality services to clients
- Excellent people and relationship building skills
- Strong communication, presentation, time management, and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
- Professional designation such as CA, CGA, CMA and/or LL.B an asset
- Investment and insurance industry knowledge strong asset
