Clinical Laboratories
Qualifications:
Training and experience in medical terminology is mandatory
Experience as related to laboratory services relating to alllab disciplines & pathology examinations, including
familiarity with lab processes, test order protocols, etc. isrequired
Experience in billing & collections for laboratoryservices, including knowledge of the Laboratory Services Schedule
of Benefits (MOHLTC) will be considered an asset
Must have computer skills including: Meditech, including theLaboratory module, Word/Windows and Excel
Experience in patient registration using ADM, module, Pathologyand Lab modules will be considered an asset
SNOMED coding and public health lab reporting
Must have good organizational, communication and telephoneskills
Ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision
Salary Range: $26.588 to 27.221
