Overview:

As an Automation Release Manager, you are a key element supporting the game development groups in the organization. You will work closely with leadership and technical leads to determine when to deploy updates. Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams and producers to shepherd new builds through the release process and to our players. Constantly be looking for process and organizational improvements that increase efficiency and raise quality. Utilize your communication skills to effectively collaborate and influence peers and development teams to improve existing processes and bring better practices and tools onboard


What You'll Do:


  • Collaborate with Game Producers, Development Partners, Technology Leads and Quality Assurance leads to review, coordinate and verify new releases through the release management processes.
  • Collaborate with central engineering teams to continuously improve our release management processes so they are as efficient as possible and result in high quality releases in the shortest timelines possible.
  • Generate detailed workflow documentation that articulates how to release a new version of the game to the players. This documentation will allow other release managers, producers and testers to better understand and participate in the release management process.
  • Proactively work with engineering groups to plan, review and be prepared for any changes from first parties that might affect our ability to release games or updates.

What We're Looking For:


  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience managing releases of games across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • 3+ years of Games Industry Experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and creative problemsolving skills.
  • Experience with Scrum Agile development methodology preferred.
  • Experience with Game development & operations preferred.
  • Experience in data, metrics and KPI frameworks is preferred.
