- Maintain parts rooms, inventory, pick-up and delivery of parts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop storage and work areas
- Support the Fleet administration and Supervisor with related tasks
- Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas
- Assist with mixer truck digital applications and set up.
- Miscellaneous tasks as they arise including general housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Min class 5 driver's license
- Basic Computer skills
- Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
- Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of learning through on the job training
- Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
- In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required
- Mechanical abilities and truck parts knowledge an asset but not required
