We are currently seeking a
HSE & Compliance Coordinator to join our Surrey Admin team. Prairie Pacific Coast Express Corp. offers a professional work environment, a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Reporting directly to the HSE & Compliance Manager, the HSE & Compliance Coordinator's key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety programs, including standard operating procedures, policies and training to mitigate risk, optimize worker's health and safety and foster a positive occupational health and safety culture
  • Providing a wide variety of administrative duties in support of HSE & Compliance
  • Initiating enforcement procedures on workplaces contravening organization and government health and safety standards and regulations
  • Providing training to employers, employees and the general public on issues of workplace safety
  • Communicating, engaging and influencing decisionmakers and workers to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Duties including but not limited to creating and maintaining driver files, maintenance files, maintaining and auditing driver logs NSC requirements, training records.
  • Professional attitude in all interactions when on shift
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Transportation compliance experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word programs
  • Ability to maintain order in a fastpaced team environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Available to work full time hours with overtime being very rare.
  • Reliable transportation
