We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at qathet General Hospital in Powell River.
As a key part of our laboratory team,
You will obtain laboratory samples from patients as required,
Perform Laboratory procedures and analyze results,
Prepare solutions reagents standards controls for use in analysis according to Standard Operating Procedures Respond requests inquiries test results by various methods required Communicate test results appropriate parties designated members health teams printing distributing lab results established procedures designated area Perform routine instrument maintenance including setup calibration maintenance laboratory instruments Identify report malfunctions equipment practices Diagnostic Accreditation Program DAP Assist evaluation technical procedures provide input development policies procedures assigned work area.
