Job Summary

Full time :
Monday to Friday (8hours)

Job Summary
Freight forwarder manager will provide leadership to the company.

This position will be responsible to ensure smooth operation through effective and efficient management of persons and daily performance.

This role will also have primary accountability to ensure proper day-to-day operation management of freight forwarding including;

Monitor department's performance, prepare report for senior management.
Plan, organize, control and evaluate daily operation.
Train, supervise and work along side fellow freight coordinators, proactively reviewing and suggesting improvements.
Provide leadership to employees to accomplish company goals and objectives.
Working with the Sales team to provide shipping and freight forwarding quotations.
Other duties as assigned including covering temporary absences of other staff.

Main Requirements

Prepare and submit reports
Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
Arrange for maintenance and repair work
Resolve work related problems
Train workers in duties and policies
Arrange training for staff
Coordinate, assign and review work
Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization

Supervision

Minimum 3-4 years of international freight forwarding experience

Experience in Ocean and Air inbound, outbound in Canada

Diploma / Degree preferred

Must be fluent both in English & Korean
-
Must possess Permanent Residency & Citizenship
