    Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team at our Materials division in Edmonton, Alberta. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager.

    We are looking for a driven and motivated sales performer with a proven track record of bringing value to the customer by listening to their needs, being responsive and earning their trust daily.

    • Actively maintain customer interactions, market development and strategies through sales planning tools like a CRM
    • Support a strong team culture by engaging in team meetings & industry networking that drive alignment and team success

    Essential Experience and Skills:

    • Three to five years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in a construction materials environment or concrete technical experience and knowledge
    • Construction market and industry knowledge an asset
    • Proven track record demonstrating revenue, volume, and profitability growth
    • Able to bring value to the customer by listening to their needs, being responsive, and earning trust daily
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel
    • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with solid organizational, multi-tasking and time-management capabilities
    • Goal and results oriented with the ability to take initiative

    Preferred Experience and Skills:

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
    • CRM software experience
    • Business to business sales and customer service experience
    • Preference given to candidates whose experience relates well to the building materials industry

    Work Environment:

    • Role operates primarily in a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
