Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Coordinator & EA role will have a dual purpose of supporting the implementation of the marketing plan, including the production/design of marketing materials and content, and event coordination, as well as carrying out ad hoc Executive Assistant duties for our Vancouver-based Executive Vice President.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Coordinator
- Create, update, and maintain marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers and videos.
- Social media management and content production.
- Website management to ensure existing pages are updated and new content is added regularly.
- Provide administrative support in the planning of SEMP's attendance at industry events.
- Update/help produce documents and tech diagrams to align with brand guidelines.
- Work alongside Document Controller to ensure templates are in line with brand guidelines.
- CRM system updates.
- Help to identify market segments and create targeted marketing materials and campaigns.
- Occasional proposal and bid production support.
- Help draft internal communication materials
- Support any other activities that fall within the annual marketing plan
Executive Assistant
- Make travel arrangements, including flights and hotels, across time zones and countries with a precise approach to optimizing schedule efficiency.
- Meeting arrangements and diary management.
- Correspondence and inbox management.
- Meeting minutes.
- LinkedIn profile management.
Education and Experience
Essential
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in marketing, communications, design or equivalent.
- 13 years of relevant B2B industry experience.
- Website management using WordPress.
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Graphic design skills (Canva and/or Adobe InDesign).
- Excellent creative communication skills (visual, written and verbal).
- Highly organised and detail oriented with excellent time management and planning skills.
- A selfstarter with a strong work ethic and who is able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Very high professional standards and discretion with sensitive information.
Desirable
- Experience of using CRM systems, e.g. Hubspot.
- Prior experience with architectural, engineering, or construction firms.
- Basic video editing skills.
