Responsibilities:

Provide premier service at one of Vancouver's top boutique hotel
Oversee departures/arrival, run switchboard, take reservations
Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies
Oversee the cleanliness, safety & security of the property
Manage emergency situations including the operation of the fire panel
Be educated and aware of WHMIS standards and safe work procedures
Work well under pressure and be able to multitask in a variety of departments
Reconcile accounts; investigate and resolve outofbalance accounts
Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
Help prepare for forecasts and audits
Liaison with Food and Beverage Managers on issues affecting OPUS
Ensures superior customer service levels are maintained by all Front Office team members
Resolves guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
Completes daily sales & labor report
Completes daily room pick up & forecast reports
Accurately completes shift updates and cashout procedures
Informs and updates the Front Office Manager on all guest related issues
Verifies and checks all night audit reports and reports any discrepancies
Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

**Willingness to work overnight shifts.
**Must possess Valid BC driver's license. Experience driving Manual vehicles an asset.
**A strong grasp of the English language in both verbal and written forms is mandatory.
**Applicants must have permission to work in Canada.

$25.50 per hour
